"Yes! Definitely a wow experience that deeply resonated with me. The performance was thought provoking. The message of the story was delivered in such a way with emotion and authenticity that it felt like anyone can empathize and relate. What truly stood out was how domestic violence has many layers and it shed light on its profound impact in a way that resonated deeply on so many levels. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of awareness on domestic violence and how it can look like in many ways . The set design and lighting added to the immersive experience, making every scene come alive. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.  Also to mention the soundtrack was bomb!!!" - M.O. "I went with a friend & we both enjoyed it. The main character was a great actress - a good choice for the part. The colours were vibrant. Keith, the opening act, was funny. I appreciated the openness at the end to dance on the stage with the artists. Great play! Worth the money." - C.R "We loved the show. It was so unique and inspiring. Thank you." -M.P.S. and D. M. "It was absolutely outstanding! I wish I could have stayed around after it was completed. I really like the venue. The performers were amazing. The hours and dedication to the production showed in the professional nature of the show. Loved the message, loved the cast, thanking all the volunteers, and hats off to our exceptional executive director, Dr. Roz." - C.C. "It was great! The cast, especially Ms. Burns, put on a very moving experience. I brought a friend of mine along, and she was also greatly moved by the show. The immersive, communal, crowd-engaging part of it really enforced the sense of community and sisterhood as well, which was such a nice, genuine touch. The music, the poetry, the themes of womanhood, resilience, strength and empowerment all really shone through." - J.D.

"Dr. Roz Roach, a renowned psychiatrist with a passion for the arts, decided to channel her expertise into a powerful musical production. The curtains rose on a stage set for a performance that was unlike any other—a fusion of art and advocacy, aimed at shedding light on global violence and racism. At the heart of the production was Rosa, a survivor of unspeakable traumas. Rosa’s story was one of resilience and struggle, of fighting against the chains of control and power that had been imposed upon her because of her race, gender, status, and cultural background. As the  music began to play, the audience was drawn into Rosa’s world. The haunting melodies and poignant lyrics painted a vivid picture of her journey. Rosa’s life had been a series of battles, each one leaving scars that ran deep. Yet, her spirit remained unbroken. Dr. Roz, portrayed in the musical as a compassionate and dedicated therapist, became Rosa’s anchor. Their sessions, depicted through powerful duets and moving solos, showcased the profound bond between therapist and patient. Dr. Roz guided Rosa through the physical abuse and darkness, helping her to confront her past and reclaim her identity. The musical was not just a story of Rosa’s healing but also a commentary on the broader societal issues that perpetuate violence and racism. Each act of the performance delved into different aspects of these issues, from the systemic power imbalances to the personal toll they take on individuals like Rosa. As the final act approached, Rosa stood on stage, a symbol of hope and resilience. Her voice, once silenced by fear and oppression, now rang out clear and strong. The audience could feel the weight of her journey, the pain she had endured, and the strength she had found within herself. In the end, the musical was a triumphant testament to the human spirit’s capacity for healing and transformation. Dr. Roz’s production left the audience in awe, their hearts heavy with the weight of the issues addressed, but also uplifted by the message of hope and renewal. As the lights dimmed and the curtains fell, the applause was thunderous. The Healing Symphony had achieved its purpose—not just as a piece of entertainment, but as a call to action, a reminder of the work that still needed to be done to address the deep-seated issues of violence and racism in our world." - Linda Rose.
