The purse features two women's profiles, facing clasped hands, all hand-carved and hand-painted with "SISTERHOOD" in yellow lettering handstitched on the front cover.  This round handbag is bordered with intricate suede ribboning and the brown leather shoulder piece is suspended by a gold chain, making it both a comfortable and stylish piece for day wear or an evening out. This piece comes with a vibrant orange and yellow braided charm, beside a group of hearts. Strap and charms are adjustable.
 
Sisterhood is inspired by the Sistas Calling soundtrack, Dr. Roz and Sistas. Sistas Calling is an anti-violence anti-racism music dance theatre production that tells the story of a woman's survival, healing, and transformation. The album, Dr. Roz & Sistas features ten original tracks filled with anthems that examine social issues, demand change, and celebrate triumph.
